Fatal Car Accident Settlement

We represented the family of a 64-year-old woman who was killed in a car accident.  She and her husband were driving their grandchild when the defendant’s vehicle entered the lane of the car in which she was a passenger. When the victim’s husband swerved to avoid the car, he lost control and his car flipped over. The victim died on impact.

While the defendant tried to avoid responsibility for the accident, the month before trial began our firm secured a settlement for $1.2 million for wrongful death.
