For nearly forty years, members of the firm have been representing some of the most high-profile criminal clients in Louisiana. This includes Barry Seal, Governor Edwin Edwards, and Rodney Pearce.

Lance started his career as a public defender for the Orleans Public Defenders. He quickly rose to success by securing victories against one of the most notoriously corrupt police departments. Lance then transitioned to working as a death penalty lawyer achieving a remarkable track record preserving each client’s life in all eleven cases he defended. Through his training as a public defender and death penalty lawyer, Lance is well known for organizing highly complex investigations that are necessary for defending false accusations.
